Prakash Khandekar is the Founder Director of VSS Consultants. He founded the VSS Consultants in 2001 along with (Late) Nitin Sawardekar, who had similar background. He is a graduate from the National Defence Academy and was commissioned into the Corps of Electrical, Mechanical & Electronics Engineers and did his BE Electrical, Mechanical & Electronics Engineering. He also did his PGDBM from the army. He served in the Indian Army for 25 years and was trained and certified as a Group Testing Officer by Defence Institute of Psychological Research, New Delhi. He served as a Senior Group Testing Officer in Services Selection Board, Bangalore and assessed over 1400 candidates during his 4 years tenure there. Later, post the Army career, he was consultant with Behavioral Science Center, Mumbai and participated in Assessment & Development Centre assignments with numerous organisations. Since founding VSS Consultants, he designed Assessment Centres and participated as lead assessor in more than 500 AC/DCs in various organisations spanning across the industry. He is an experienced trainer having carried out extensive training in technical and behavioural areas in the Army and has conducted numerous Train The Trainer open programmes as well as in-house programmes within various organisations. He is also a part time faculty conducting training for the management students of Sadhana College of Management and Leadership Development (SCMLD) Pune, in Assessment & Development Centres technique.           

Kalpana Patwardhan is a Senior Consultant with VSS Consultants. She is an MA Psychology from Pune University with Industrial Psychology and has rich experience of testing. She has been a co-ordinator and faculty with Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, Pune in Behavioural Science and Organisational Behaviour. She is a trained and experienced Senior Assessor in Assessment & Development Centres since 2004 and has assessed for Assessment & Development Centres with a large number of organisations. She has led various Assessment Centres as a lead assessor.              

Balachandra Menon is a Senior Consultant with VSS Consultants. He was in the Army for 22 years and was trained and certified by the Defence Institute of Psychological Research, New Delhi as a Group Testing Office. He was a Group Testing Officer in Selection Centre (South), Bangalore and has assessed over 1200 candidates during his tenure. Later he was Senior Group Testing Officer at the Defence Institute of Psychological Research, New Delhi. Post his Army career he was Head – HR for Microland India, Bangalore for a decade and is a trained and experienced Senior Assessor in Assessment & Development Centres. He is a trainer and has carried out extensive training in technical and behavioural areas in the Army as well as in the corporate world.

Subhash Patil is a Senior Consultant with VSS Consultants. He was in the Army for 34 years, during which he was trained and certified as a Group Testing Officer (GTO) by the Defence Institute of Psychological Research, New Delhi (DIPR). He was posted as a GTO in 18 Services Selection Board (SSB), Allahabad and assessed over 1200 candidates during his 3 years there. He is a trained and experienced Senior Assessor in Assessment & Development Centres.

Vivek Khare is a Senior Consultant with VSS Consultants. He was in the Army for 38 years during which he was an instructor at various Training Institutes including the National Defence Academy and has done his MPM from Pune University and his MSc Defence Studies from University of Chennai. He is a trained and experienced assessor for Assessment & Development Centres and has assessed for a large number of organisations.

Rajbir Singhis a Senior Consultants with VSS Consultants. He was in the Army for 32 years and retired as a Brigadier. He has a master’s degree in Psychology and was trained and certified as a Psychologist (Technical Officer) by the Defence Institute of Psychological Research, New Delhi. He was posted as Technical Officer of 17 Services Selection Board in Selection Centre (South), Bangalore and has over 17 years of Assessment in the Army. He is a trained and experienced Senior Assessor in Assessment & Development Centres and has participated in a number of Assessment & Development Centre assignments.

Harbir Chauhan is a Senior Consultant with VSS Consultants. He was in the Army for 32 years and was trained and certified by the Defence Institute of Psychological Research, New Delhi as a Group Testing Officer. He was a Group Testing Officer in Selection Centre (South), Bangalore and in Selection Centre, East Allahabad and has over 8 years of assessing experience in the Army and has assessed over 2400 candidates during his tenure. He is a trained and experienced Senior Assessor in Assessment & Development Centres and has assessed with a large number of companies.

Narendra Patwardhan is a Senior Consultant with VSS Consultants. He is a Finance professional having held finance positions with prestigious organisations like Bajaj Tempo, Shree Products, Hi-Tech Plast and was an Executive Dir at Shaw Wallace Distributors Ltd in Sri Lanka and later Vice President – Corporate Finance with Shaw Wallace in India. He is a trained and experienced Assessor in Assessment & Development Centres having assessed in a number of organisations.

Ravi Sharma is a Senior Consultant with VSS Consultants. He is a post-graduate in Civil Engineering and has done his M Tech from IIT, Delhi. He was in the Army for 28 years and was trained and certified by the Defence Institute of Psychological Research, New Delhi as a Group Testing Office. He was a Group Testing Officer in Selection Centre, Allahabad and has extensive experience in the Army. He is a trained and experienced Assessor for Assessment Centre and has participated in a number of Assessment Centre assignments.
        
Deepti Athalye is a Counsellor with VSS Consultants. She has a Master degree in Clinical Psychology and is a trained and experienced counsellor. She is also a trained and experienced Assessor in Assessment and Development Centres. She has assessed in a number of organisations. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Counselling in the State University of New York, Buffalo, USA.
