Data Collection
We work with the organisation to determine, what exactly is required for a person to be successful in the position to be filled. Exhaustive interviews are carried out to determine the dimensions, which each candidate requires to ensure success in the position. This is documented in a candidate profile for further use in the process.
Candidate Short listing
Once the search committee has endorsed the candidate profile document the process of identifying potential candidates commences. We take an exhaustive approach to candidate identification utilizing a number of search methodologies. Our network of senior executives in public, private and not-for-profit organizations provides us with known and established expertise from which to draw. Networking and organizational collaboration represents the most effective means of identifying candidates who have demonstrated expertise in their field.
Interview and Selection
We use a varied mix of methodologies suitably tailored to the requirement, which could incorporate behavioural event interviews, in-basket exercises, analysis exercises, and entrepreneual case studies. Thus the assessor is able to determine whether the candidate possesses the requisite competencies to be successful in the position. A detailed report on each candidate is generated through this process and this includes a clear recommendation on the suitability of the candidate for the position.
We are able to assume various roles at this stage in the selection process ranging from facilitation or participating on the search committee, observing the process or participating in final selection deliberations.
Follow-up Support
Our relationship with you continues beyond the commencement of the new executive. The success of this placement is immensely important to us and we will provide support and coaching during the induction and integration of the new executive to ensure the new relationship is cemented.
